Ok, so the next "Narnia" movie is finally here and I just saw it last Saturday. I was pretty much excited for this one.
Unfortunately, this turned from magical, to coping off the Lord of the Rings. I read the book, Prince Caspian, and it's pretty good. The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe was an excellent book and better movie. This one doesn't reach up to it's enjoyment.
Sure, the special effects and CGI are great but the characters seem different and you don't get to see more of their development, but more of the yelling arguments and many battle sequences. There was even a battle in the movie that never occurred in the book. They should have made it shorter and put in the right story how C.S. Lewis wrote it. They did that with the first one and hopefully the next one, "Voyage of the Dawn Treader", does it to.
I give Prince Caspian, a 3/5 stars.
P.S. I'm angry that it beat Iron Man in the box office. There was practically no one in the theater when i saw it!
